2023 ELECTION: INEC Begins begins recruitment of Election Ad-hoc Staff

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the recruitment of election ad-hoc staff for the 2033 general elections. The portal would be open on Wednesday the 14th of September and closed on the 30th of November, 2022. Interested persons are hereby encouraged to visit INEC portal and fill out the registration form.

It was announced by a letter released Wednesday on its official Facebook page, addressed to all resident electoral commissioners (RECs) and signed by A.T. Yusuf, INEC acting secretary.

“The Commission has approved the use of INECPRES and its reactivation for interested applicants who wish to serve as ad-hoc staff for the 2023 general elections,” the letter reads.

“The URL of the registration web portal is https://pres.inecnigeria.org. The download link for the INECPRES Mobile App installer (android phones only) is https://inecpres.app.com/pres.

“The help desk/technical support details — Vanity number: 0700-CALL-INEC; Email address: p[email protected]Other helpdesk mobile numbers are as indicated on the portal.” 

Eligibility and Qualification

  • Applicants must not be a political party member
  • Applicants must not have demonstrated or expressed support for any candidate or party
  • Applicants must reside in the STATE selected.
