Presidential Election: Obi Leads Atiku, Tinubu, Kwankwaso In Fresh Survey

Peter Obi the flagbearer of the Labour Party in the forthcoming election, is ahead of Atiku and Tinubu, a fresh survey has revealed.

A recently conducted survey carried out by Market Trends International (MTI) on all presidential candidates in the 2023 election has placed Labour Party (LP) candidate, Peter Obi, ahead of Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Tinubu of All Progressives Congress (APC), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), among others.

In a statement by the agency’s Executive Director, Victor Ebhomenye, the opinion survey conducted nationally in Nigeria, saw the former Anambra State governor having the highest favourable rating to be the next president with 44% of the respondents indicating they will vote for the LP candidate in the upcoming presidential election.

According to the MTI boss, this has come as a surprise to Nigerians because the Labour party and Peter Obi had no presence in Nigerian presidential scene as at December 2021.
