PUBLIC NOTICE
ON THE ALLEGED PRESS CONFERENCE BY YPP ACCOUNTABILITY AMBASSADORS.
As the State Chairman of the Young Progressives Party, it has been brought to my knowledge an alleged Press Conference held by a faceless group with the name – Young Progressives Accountability Ambassadors . I wish to state that as a Party , we do not know these fellows and they are not members of our party in any way. These are paid government media persons , who are scared of the towering image and acceptability of the Young Progressives Party and its Governorship Candidate – Distinguished Senator Obong Bassey Albert OBA .
So let me state as follows :
@ Firstly , as a Party founded on basic democratic ideology of fairness, equity and truth , we first had to confirm the authenticity of the said Association with the Corporate Affairs Commission and realised that there is no such registered Association as that ! So we can all imagine the fact , this is a faceless group , put together and sponsored without an identity .
@ Secondly in true life situation , every Organisation or Groups who partners or come together for any common goal , must have a documentation or an MOU for that purpose. I therefore challenge this faceless group to show the World the documentation or MOU we entered with them as a Party , as we have done same with other Groups and Associations working with us .
@ As a Party , we sincerely understand the fact that the popularity profile of our Governorship Candidate – Distinguished Senator Obong Bassey Albert Akpan OBA is a threat and a worry to many selfish quarters but the truth is that no one can stop a man , whose time is Now .
So we are in full support of him and our other Candidates for the 2023 General Elections.
@ We must however thank the said paid agents for acknowledging the fact that our Party has a well laid out development plans and we are being appreciated by the majority of the Akwa Ibom people on a daily basis but we are quick to add , that our doors can be open for them , if they restitute and apologise for being used by some government media agents .
@ As a Party , we completely disassociate ourselves from the said Press Release of this faceless group , as we have nothing whatsoever to do with them !
@ Lastly as a Party , we must commend the people of Akwa Ibom State for accepting us and our Candidates. Ballot Revolution is real and we must use our PVC to vote in our Party for Service to the People.
We stand by Distinguished Senator Obong Bassey Albert Akpan.
We stand by all our Candidates.
YPP is the answer to the many failed promises of this present administration.
