Big Brother housemates won their Wager for the week after presenting five art pieces made out of recycled material in the arena on 16th September 2022. The Presenters were Adekunle, Daniella, Dotun, Groovy, and Sheggz while the head of house Phyna anchored the presentation.
Recall, earlier in the week, Big brother gave the theme of the week as ”The Green Earth: Go green, sustainable energy and all things to celebrate planet Earth”. Also, the housemates were asked to create at least two objects of art using mainly waste materials like plastic, paper, cans, etc.
The art pieces
The housemates came up with a robot, a chair made with bottles, Turtles made of plastic, a water filter, and an eco-friendly home. The arts were functional and interesting. Though Big brother requested at least two art pieces, the Housemates were so creative and they presented five outstanding art pieces.
Assessment and Judgement
The housemates were kept in suspense when he did not announce if they won their Wager but rather called on Chizzy, Allysyn, Bryann, and Chomzy to give their assessment on the Task.
Allysyn said she enjoyed everything, being a part of it makes was very cool and she liked everybody’s presentation. Chizzy said that the presentation was cool, the turtle was pure a definition of art, and the robot would help people do their house chores and clean their environment. With the robot at home, people can go out for their businesses and be sure of returning to a clean house. He also liked the idea of an eco-friendly house made from just plastics and wood. Also, the water filter was a superb idea. All of them gave a generally positive review praising the creativity and practicability of the art pieces.
After their assessment, Biggie praised the practicality of their utilitarian creations and it was impressive. Their robot function was significant because not only does it recycle waste, but it was also solar powered which means it would not release pollutants or greenhouse gas emissions. The plastic chair was an ingenious idea that should encourage low-income homes to convert their waste into furniture. The Mansion could be a possible level 4, although only chichi and Bella will live there.
Finally, he said the hands that work hard deserve to win some extra pocket naira, announced their Wager win and the Housemates burst into shouts of joy.
