2023: THIRTEEN UNITS OF IBIAKU WARD 3, IKONO LGA ASSURE ON REP UKPONG-UDO’S REELECTION

The leadership of Mkpoikana Abasi Campaign Council accompanied the member representing Ikono-Ini Federal Constituency, Hon Emmanuel Ukpong-udo as he continued the Unit-to-Unit tour of the Constituency in the 13 Units of Ibiaku Ward 3 in Ikono Local Government Area today 4th January 2023.

Indigenes of the area, supporters and members of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) from Units 6, 8, 9 and 13 received the Lawmaker at the Village Hall, Mbiabong Ikon; those from Units 3, 4, 7, 10 and 11 gathered at Methodist Central School, Ibiaku Ata, while Government Primary School, Ibiaku Ikot Ukana hosted Units 1, 2, 5 and 12.

In all the centres, Rep Emmanuel Ukpong-udo and his entourage were accorded a warm reception. The returning House of Representatives commended the leadership of YPP, community leaders, women, youths and Elders on the warm reception and their orderly conduct during the exercise.

He emphasized his resolve to continue prioritizing the happiness of his constituents through empowerment, facilitation of employment and infrastructural renaissance. He also restated confidence that Ibiaku ward 3 is totally in support of his re-election bid as he acknowledged the caliber of frontline supporters who are core grassroot mobilizers, eager to deliver massively in their respective units.

The Director-General of Mkpoikana Abasi Campaign Organization lauded indigenes of Ibiaku ward 3 for their enormous role in the sustainability of YPP in the ward, pointing out that their commitment at the grassroots is a morale booster to all YPP candidates.

The standard flag-bearer for Ikono State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom House of Assembly, Hon. Asuquo Nana Udo praised indigenes of Ward 3 for the massive show of love by coming out en masse to show solidarity to the trending and fastest growing political party in Akwa Ibom State.
